His co-authored book with Jade Munslow Ong,\u00a0<i>Global Literature and the Environment\u00a0<\/i>(Routledge, 2024) contextualizes environmental breakdown within the history of capitalist-imperialism, while his previous book,\u00a0<i>Post-War British Literature and the \u201cEnd of Empire\u201d<\/i>\u00a0(Palgrave Macmillan, 2016) explores responses to British imperial decline, focusing on decolonisation, Americanisation, and immigration to Britain.
